Give your AI brand film a clear ending

Decide what the viewer should do after the story, then make the final frame support that one action. A brand signature, a short invitation and an accurate destination can be enough. Keep essential text editable in the cut, try it at phone size and watch the full ending with sound. A painted button inside an exported video does not become a working link.

Let the last scene finish its thought

A film can end beautifully and still leave a potential customer wondering where to go. It can also lose its feeling when a quiet final moment turns into a crowded sales slide. I treat the closing image and the next step as one decision: what has the viewer just understood, and what would be a reasonable thing to do now?

Imagine a small ceramics workshop opening its doors for an evening visit. The invented film follows a bowl from the workbench to a shared table. Its ending does not need to sell every workshop, name every material and list every social account. It might simply leave the door open and invite the viewer to see the available sessions. This is a teaching concept, not a customer campaign or a measured result.

  • What the last scene should leave the viewer feeling
  • One action the publication should make possible
  • The exact page, profile or contact route behind it
  • Separate closing wording for each delivered language

Choose the kind of ending you actually need

An author film can close with a name and let the surrounding page carry the invitation. A campaign version may need a precise action inside the picture. A series can point to the next part. These endings do different jobs; there is little value in adding the same commercial card to every version simply because a template contains one.

Before a project with SOLONSKY Films moves into finishing, I want the ending to be part of the agreed story. If the final scene holds an emotional reveal, give that reveal room. Decide whether the signature arrives over the image, after a cut or on a separate surface. Keep the change in tone deliberate rather than letting the logo cover the very thing the audience came to see.

Match the invitation to what opens next

Write the destination before polishing the sentence. “See the sessions” should lead to sessions, not a general homepage where the visitor has to start searching again. “Discuss my film” should open a clear contact route. A short instruction can be specific without pretending that a purchase, a reply time or a free consultation has already been promised.

The exported picture and the publishing platform have separate roles. A visible address can be read, but a button drawn into the frame is still part of the image. If a platform offers an actual link or interactive end-screen element, configure it separately and test it from the viewer’s side. Do not approve the campaign by clicking inside the editing software alone.

Compare three ways to close the same story

The workshop story can keep its final shared-table image, cut to a quiet identity card or use a platform feature after the film. Compare those choices against the publication context. A separate card makes text easier to revise, while a signature over the last scene can preserve the feeling of staying inside the story.

Keep the approved brand name and lettering as controlled artwork in the edit. Generating the surrounding scene does not require regenerating the identity every time. When the destination changes, you should be able to replace that line without rebuilding the entire film. Ask which parts of the closing composition remain editable and who checks the final export.

Test the hold instead of borrowing a magic number

There is no single duration I can promise will work for every ending. A short brand signature and a long invitation do not take the same effort to read. The workshop below lets you try a hold between two and eight seconds. That range is an editorial exercise, not a platform requirement, a reading-speed test or a prediction of clicks.

Watch the sequence once at normal size without pausing. What did you remember: the maker, the invitation, the place to go? If you only caught one of four competing lines, remove a line before making everything smaller. Replay with the actual last sound or spoken sentence; a new instruction arriving while a character finishes speaking can split attention.

Keep the words steady while the feeling settles

A quieter surface behind the final words can help them stay readable. In the prototype I use indigo and porcelain as a controlled example, not a simulation of every screen or a certificate of accessibility. The W3C contrast guidance is a useful baseline for digital text; real video still needs inspection after export, compression and placement over moving imagery.

Check the language versions with their real wording. Spanish and Russian may occupy a different number of lines from English. Do not solve that by shrinking one version until it becomes hard to read. A shorter natural invitation, a different line break or a separately composed card is usually a more honest editorial decision than forcing every translation into the same text box.

Approve the route as well as the frame

For the ceramics example, the handover note can stay small: approved final image, exact invitation, destination, language and selected hold. Open the destination on a phone, confirm that the promised information is there and check the published film with the platform’s visible controls. A mock-up with generous empty margins does not prove that a real social overlay will leave the same space.

The official YouTube video below explains a platform end screen, which is different from text baked into a film. Current YouTube instructions set their own eligibility and timing conditions; check them before adapting a short campaign cut. Bring the intended destination and one approved closing line when discussing the ending with SOLONSKY Films. We can plan the final image around the next step without turning the whole story into a sales slide.

Questions

Does a button in the film work as a link?

A button that is part of the exported image is not interactive. The publication needs its own supported link or contact route.

How long should the final card stay visible?

Try the exact wording in the finished sequence. Choose a hold after watching at normal size; the worksheet’s two-to-eight-second range is only for exploring a draft.

Should every film finish with a sales instruction?

No. An author film, a campaign cut and a series episode can use different endings. The surrounding page or description may carry the next step.
